A fight I would love to see, Froch has improved since the first fight however not sure will happen. Not sure if you caught the Groves Froch press conference yesterday but towards the end Froch was talking about his run of fights against top opposition.
When he mention Ward he said only guy to beat m ethat I have not avenged P4P number 2 and will prob go his whole career without being beat. Very un Froch like ..... was not sure what to make of it but can you see Froch taking a fight he is not sure he can win ? could not even cash out on a fight like that as it would have to be stateside and Ward just not a PPV fighter so can't see the money being that good.

Wh wantsto watch Ward at all he is boring.

To be honest although I admit Ward is the best SMW in the world he is not as good as some people think he will lose eventually. He is the best of a good bunch. H2H with some of the greatest SMW your Eubanks Watsons of this world he would come off second best.

Joe Calzaghe would beat him to IMO no shame in that though Ward is good elite even but he is fighting in a weaker era than SMW of old.

I don't know if Froch has improved really, I doubt it. Bute just wasn't what everybody thought he was. Froch is maybe more confident now but technically I don't really see an improvement and I think he could have done that to Bute at any time looking back on it.

Not really interested in seeing a rematch Ward won it hands down the last time, apparently with one good arm as well. I don't think there is anything to suggest a 2nd fight would be any less one sided.

Even if the fight takes place in Nottingham and Ward isn't allowed to hold and hit, headbutt and such, Froch still would be clearly outboxed about 8 to 4 so it wouldn't matter one bit.

i'm not sure what you've seen that makes you say he's noticeably improved. he's the same frochy. very solid, legit champ who is going to ko groves as well. but he's never going to beat ward. ever. pretty sure he knows this. all he really talks about his how boring ward is and then hangs his hat on this 113-115 cards which even he knows are bull****.

that said there is nothing else at smw for ward and this would make some money for both guys.

The outcome would be the same as the 1st fight.

If Ward feels like staying at SMW he needs to fight Froch again (In England this time)

What is this with he "needs" to fight in England? In as many fights Froch hadn't left England, Kessler hadn't left Denmark or Calzaghe the UK. So as champion why does Ward "NEED" to go anywhere?

it would matter, as it would show ward can do it despite hostile crowds and an unsympathetic ref.

That would be good to see Ward travel for once but he doesn't really "need" to fight Froch in England at all. He already beat him easy and is undisputedly number 1 at 168lbs. He doesn't even owe Froch a 2nd fight, let alone give him home advantage. The first fight was not close.
