Carl Froch mentioned in the interview right after the Glen Johnson fight that he has the formula for beating Ward. What is the formula? Make your qualified guess in this thread.
Froch's hypothetical formula I'm sure involves backing Ward up and using his size/length advantage to the fullest a la Abraham, landing short combinations and never letting Ward get going. Trouble is, Froch won't be doing any of that as he will be more than neutralized by the speed and skill of Ward. His only real hope to get inside, accept that he will absorb a decent amount of punishment, but rely on his chin/Ward's lacking power, and try to bomb Ward out of there, if it is in any way a boxing performance he has no chance.

He said, "Ward doesnt feel comfortable going forward", so that is it. He's going to be defensive, try to keep Ward in No Man's Land, try to make him pay the price going in and use punch combos, disengage and reset distance. He knows the LAST THING he wants is to infight w/ Ward. He saw what happened to Kessler & Green.
