Do you think it has been and gone?

Maybe it was cos of Dirrell's speed but for me both Froch's speed and chin were way better when he fought Jean Pascal.

I think his chin is getting a little worst, he was buzzed by Dirrell, perhaps using his chin as his frontal defence for all those years has caught up with him.

I predict Kessler will knock him out early. I hope not though, cos I'm a big fan.

I just think he is now being exposed at this level, imo and agree about a Kess win, not sure about ko mind

I think the punches that have hurt him are the ones he hasn't seen coming, I don't think kesslers will trouble that much. That being said he'll need to be alot tighter defensivly if he's to come out with a win

Big fan of Froch but I worry for him in this fight. I think he'll lose a wide decision unless I'm over estimating Kesslers ability to take his shots.

Kessler will hammer him and KO him if he's the fighter he was back when he beat Andrade.

Thing is, Kessler didn't seem to have that sharpness anymore. He's noway near as good on his feet as he was and he's lost some handspeed too. Which will allow Froch to get closer and make a tear up out of it.

I don't know if Froch's chin is eroding or more likely he was just caught with good shots square on the chin because he's so open. One thing is for sure he won't last long fighting like he does, its a shame it took him until this point to get to title level.

He's still fresh, he hasn't had that many fights or took that much stick. Not seen any signs of wear and tear myself.

He's in his peak he's just fighting better competition.

He's been extremely lucky not to have at least one defeat on his record. Hopefully it will come against Kessler, I want to see Kessler humiliate the *****.

I'd love Froch to win but I think he'll lose by KO as well.

If Dirrell would have fought the whole fight the way he did in the last 3 rounds he would have stopped Froch IMO.

He just needs to tighten his defence a bit.

    Cant see it myself,

Only worrying signs were against Taylor (nerves made him make a mistake)

And Dirrell and that was due to a bad mach-up stylisticly

Now he know he belongs with the top dogs i think he will go from strengh to strengh, imagine if he won the tourney and came out undefeated, Damn that would be crazy, hghly unlikley but crazy if he did pull it off.

    True,

Think how stacked hs resume' would be if by some miricle he did pull it off

    Pascal
    Taylor
    Dirrell
    Kessler
    Abraham
    Possibly Ward aswell

That would be one hell of a resume' for sure

I'm still not sure if Froch's chin is that good against another top SMW. Taylor put him on his arse after coming up from MW. Dirrell had him struggling in the later rounds having hardly landed anything up to that point.

I really fear for Froch against Kessler. The worry is that Froch walks forward with his guard down. If Kessler is on his game he'll just be jabbing Froch's head off and setting up big shots. All this in Kessler's back yard. Looks too tough for me. If Froch wins though, he'll have earned the plaudits.
