Froch should be a superstar. Fat Mick is a ****ing joke of a promoter. He's got a guy who is a world champion, has beaten 3 top fighters and is good with the media and has a fit bird (if that matters). Yet he can't get him on main TV and the average guy in the street doesn't know who he is. Criminal.
I like Froch,he should be respected for fighting whoever is put in front of him but I think his last two performances prove that he does not belong with the top dogs,his chin,toughness and a fair bit of luck have got him this far but the chin is showing signs of declining and his luck has got to run out at some point...
For ****s sake, what a ****ing **** thread, Dirrell did not "buzz" Froch, it was all over blown by the commentators, no one watching it there live even knew of this so called punch or punches which buzzed Froch. Taylor hit Froch on the top of his head, temple area, that has nothing to do with his chin, its like saying Margarito's got a **** chin because he was KO'd. I know I'm a big Froch fan, but I'm a bigger fan of not talking **** and you my friend, have mastered it....
:nut Deluded fool. He was deffo buzzed a bit. He wasn't baby giraffe legs or anything but he deffo stiffened up a bit. I would find the video but I really can't be arsed as you will probably say it's been edited.
I know the exact bit when people think Froch was stunned, watching boxing, as I do regularly, I know when someone gets stunned, except Froch losing his footing slightly, that was not how people get stunned. And why the **** would I say it was edited, I'm a Froch fan, I'm not mentally ******ed (ie. a Calzaghe fan, I'm joking, chill the **** out).
Listen, Froch has a great chin no doubt, but he took bombs of Jean Pascal and didn't flinch but then gets floored of JT (you may call it a temple shot but he was rocked just before that aswell) and then he gets buzzed by Dirrell who doesn't hit hard. I think his chin is declining, still a great chin but not as good as it was.
His chin isn't 'getting worse' he's just got a crap defence and fighting good fighters. He was really nervous against Taylor but came through, and fought against someone who didn't want to fight in Dirrell and came through. I'm not so sure that Kessler will destroy him as some reckon, he'll be standing in front of Froch who's shown what he can do in the trenches before. Wasn't there going to be an announcement this week about TV deal?
I don't know what this is all about Froch getting bussed, SO WHAT,lots of good fighters have been (bussed) it don't mean a thing,he took one shot and got up looked at his corner and came back smoking.Don't fear for Carl this kid can dig deep,he will make Kessler back up, and when he's backing up he's no Kessler at all,he's gone, take a good look at his last two fights,no timing and no accuracy and his last fight he was gormless.Im betting big on this one.....sick him Carl...
