I'm actually starting to feel bad for him now ( a wee bit anyway ) but if you know your chin is **** , and everyone else did so he should have , and you fight with your left hand dangling at your waist this is gonna happen !
I saw the fight and I couldn't help but feel sorry for the kid. Hyping oneself up should be considered part of being a fighter. If Khan didn't play the arrogant overconfident type I don't think anyone here outside of his hometown would have known of him as he is known right now. Proving it is another matter, though and it is up to each one's standards whether to gloat or not once the fighter falls flat on his face trying to prove himself.
Its not hatred mate but being a follower of Boxing in britain has meant having the lad rammed down your throat at every given opportunity. It was obvious to me that after scares against Limondpatsch ) & then a bigger scare against a well past it Gomez Khan didnt have the minerals at the highest level. He started pissing me off when he chose to ignore his own frailties & called out people like Manny & Hatton & basically began believing his own hype.......I for one enjoyed seeing him get shown for what he is ...... :good
