What are people memories of this fighter?
As a young kid in the mid 80s I remember his name and I have heard his British title fight against Hughroy Currie was one of the worst fights ever. He then got disqualified against Greg Page and never fought again.
He seemed to have all the physical attributes but wasn’t a big puncher.
Did anybody on here see him fight?

Vaguely remember the name from Frank Bruno and Gary Mason's era, but nothing memorable stands out. I can't forgive him for giving the world Ashley and Jordan...

He was a good amateur, and I recall him in a favourite era for me personally, watching Friday Night Fight Night, Pat Cowdell, Mo Hussein, being a top ten British heavyweight is absolutely an achievement.

Not everyone can be Lennox Lewis
