I was just thinking that. I reckon they could go for 3/4/5 of these and build up a highlight reel for Fury to put out there. Shocking.
Sorry even for a huge fan of fury like myself this is completely unacceptable!! What happened to it having to be an American ???? If that was the case I could just about stomach a Martin or Washington bit wouldn't pay to watch it but this is a joke. If it doesn't have to be an American he could have chosen anybody but no we get a complete unknown ! Not a huge fan of Joshua or whyte but you have to respect them because they fight the best in the division or are at least willing to have tough fights without taking pointless fights waiting for a big one to come along. Fury is not fighting wilder after this no way, Ruiz if he wins will definitely get the unification fight before fury gets his chance of a rematch. Fury needs quality opposition otherwise his career is going to go in only 1 way unfortunately.

Hopefully for Fury’s sake the Wilder match is set in stone because you’d have to worry about his focus/motivation/hunger with several of these bouts on the bounce.
He didn’t say he knocked it back. He said he was in discussions regarding a potential fight. But then when you add Junior Fa and Duhuapass made the final cut I doubt them talks were very serious at all.
Let’s just put it out there. That knockdown in the twelfth left Fury feeling some type of way. Since then he won’t fight anyone with a remote ounce of power. He turned down a Wilder title shot then fought Schwarz and now Wallin. Let’s see who’s next...
How can Fury be happy with this ? Ok he is getting paid millions but he is still a world class fighter who surely wants to challenge himself , what a joke of a fight !
