Fury Vs Wardley would sell out Wembley and do good numbers. Wardley had been out boxed by far lesser boxers then fury. Could be the logical fight. Could happen late April?

Fury is not a man of his word and that is well known, all that talk about money not being important to him is just a lie, he smelled money and wants a return...

So this officially ends his 5th retirement?

I would have been surprised if Fury had confirmed his retirement, but it's nothing new that he hasn't. Fury-Wardley would be an interesting matchup in my opinion, but I think their current plans (both managed by Warren) are different. Fury will likely face Joshua, a fight that should have taken place years ago but will still bring good money for both fighters. I don't think Warren and Hearn will have much trouble reaching an agreement.

Fury doesn't deserve this opportunity, he should do a fight or two first to get in a position to fight for the title, Hrgovic would be a great opponent along the way...

He's probably decided Joshua is finally safe enough to fight after the crash...

Let's face it, it was always going to be only about the money to get Fury back in the ring - but money plus a safe risk/reward ratio for him. I don't think he'll want much to do with the younger dogs (Wardley, Kabayel, Dubois, even Itauma), it'll be a jolly around either a hypejob or two (Sanchez, Makh, etc), someone assumed shot (Joshua, Ruiz, etc) or someone who's known to not be very good but is justifiable for a comeback road to nowhere (Adeleye, Okolie, etc).

He will re-retire when he sees that the money is not there, especially now that Joshua is going to need some time off, or maybe quit himself. He has said he wants 250 mill...its not there for him.

The good news is that his record is so poor, that even if he has a couple of tune-ups against Makhmudov-level guys and calls it quits with no big fight on the horizon, it helps his top ten wins.

Recent photos show he's more obese than a few months ago.

Fury will be faded by now, he's had another long period of inactivity and didn't take care of himself very well. He's likely physically more declined than most men his age.

He'll be KOed by Wardley or Dubois if he fights either in 2026.

The only interesting fight for him is against the also-faded Joshua. I would still like to see that fight.

I was a big fan during his prime run but at this point I am of the above sentiment.

His lack of self awareness never fails to amaze me.. just days after the AJ incident. Pathetic.
