I have doubts the Fury v Joshua ever gets made anyway. Even if Fury can get some form back, and that's a pretty big IF.
If Fury can get back to anywhere near his best, we’ll be living through what will be the greatest ever era in British heavyweight history. I think that’s how they will look back on it anyway. A lot of people hope Joshua gets ‘found out’...but the facts are, he’s going to beat nearly everyone in an illustrious career. He’s got nearly all the belts, that really is phenomenal. I don’t care if he’s wearing a mask, if he’s a bit racist or whatever. Tyson is a convicted ****** but that rarely get mentioned for what he achieved in the ring. Some of the stuff Ali said was pretty awful (and very racist), but that doesn’t get mentioned either. Fury can beat AJ, and definitely outbox him...but AJ can knock him out and if he does all the chasing, trying to force the fight whilst Fury showboats on the backfoot, then we’ve already seen with Parker-Hughie that judges can go the other way with that. Exciting times...with Whyte, Hughie, Dubois, Joyce, Gorman all knocking on the door, too.
Oh well. It’s good to see him back anyway. Hopefully he can get 3 fights in this year then a proper fight early 2019 before the big summer clash.
Tbf Flanagan vs Hooker, Fury come back and the Zelfa Barrett vs Ronnie Clark rematch would make into a pretty good card. Would be the logical venue for the Zelfa fight.
Nice one. Will have to check ticket prices. Hopefully Frank won't try to rip people off too much based on Fury's return..
So does that mean he actually has his BBBoC license back ,or do they expect to fix that within the coming 2 months?
It was said his licence is back. He looked in good shape and seemed positive. I wouldnt be shocked if in a couple of years time it is built up into a Fury/Dubois fight?
With the exception of Dubois and Joyce both unknowns with potential, I don't think any of the other fighters on that list will tickle Joshua. Hughie 'The Skirt' Fury the worst of the bunch and I have not seen anything at all from him in his career to date to keep me awake for 3 mins. Povetkin and Fury should be easily cleaned up by Tony Dosh with only Wilder looking like a serious threat at present. In the last 10 years we have seen many puddings fight for the Heavyweight World Title - Charr, Pudding Chisora, Charles Martin, Hughie Fury, Breazeale, Parker, Takam, Molina, Stiverne ......... the list is endless. The biggest tests in AJ's career will surely be new hungry blood in the division as it cannot remain at such a poor standard filled with puddings for much longer.
