    Evening all.

Just watched the Fury fight, Dont get me wrong this chap has improved a ot has lost 5/6 stone and is taking this serious now, but his opponents seriously need to be sorted out. He is fighting bums and winning to easily imo, which is making him look better than he is. I know this subject has been raised so many times before but it is getting frustrating now. I still think Fury would run into complications if he were to box a top 10 ranked opponent.

what are your views on this and who do you think he will fight next? (or should i say who would you like him to find next?)

I do think it should be someone like Adamek or Povetkin along those lines.

Adamek would be ideal. Problem is (a) I doubt Meaty Mick could afford to bring him over (b) the plan with Fury seems to be to feed him bums and hope to cash out on a Klitschko fight.

I think a slight step up against Audrey Harrison, Sprott etc. i would prefer him to fight Ademek in New Jersey however with Hennessey being too much of a ***** i think this is more realistic.

Surely Fury is only with Mick for the exposure of being on channel 5. I seriously do not see what else Mick brings as an advantage for Fury over any other promoter?

The issue is this- does he need to fight anyone half decent? He seems to rising up the rankings nicely by fighting nobodies. I'd say he fights someone like Sexton next, Harrison is too much of a risk in my opinion.

He needs a big step up because he has the talent to do so. Get him in with Johnathon Banks

MH said that they tried getting Banks over here but couldn't do and had to go with Maddalone.

Chauncy Welliver wouldn't be a bad shout- he's short, beatable and ranked above him in the WBC Rankings.

actually a great next opponent for him! winnable I think. Jean Marc Mormeck seems like someone they might try hard for in the future. I also think a Harrison fight could be huge, but theres always that sense of impending doom that Audley might throw a punch and derail your fighter.

oops meant Tor Hamer! how about him?

I think when Fury got put on his arse they decided to give him a few easy fights.

He will have to step back up again soon.

I would see Fury beating Audley. The build up alone would be fun.

Fury is a joke to me now... "i'm moving on to bigger things" after dropping the british title and we've had Martin "The Cabbie" Rogan and Vinny "Who, What? Why" Maddalone

tonight Fury beat a man that looks like a 40 year old past his prime low budget porn star and then beats his chest calling out the K Brothers... it's a sick joke

What you must not forget by is the the fact that because he is actually soo busy (compared to Brits these days anyway) you can allow a few tomato cans.

Both Chisora, Pajkic and Rogan were very much respectable fights and those 3 were within the last 12 months, more respectable fights than what many up and comers have fights in a year.

Tyson is a young 24 year old with has had a few tough fights so it's okay to hold on the breaks a while and have these 'keep busy' fights.

I love Fury because the lad actually keeps active!!!!

Fury seems to be following the Bruno path to a world title fight: dismantle cans and then get the big prize, but whoops a daisy when he does. He was pretty impressive tonight against another C class opponent but has to step up the opposition to a top 20 guy.
