What I was thinking. Looks like he moves well on his feet but I'm not sold on how he moves his upper body, he just doesn't look solid either with how he puts his weight into his shots (not saying I expect power shots constantly, but...) and that he doesn't look to keep his guard up or his chin protected. He did stuff which made him look fast/snappy, but he's not going out to play pat-a-cake.

Could argue that it's just pad work, but any time you are putting yourself in the "striking" mindset is an opportunity to train yourself into good habits. It should be instinctive. Wlad looked more convincing about how he naturally looked like he wanted to hold himself and move around the ring.

The amount of "experts" in this thread not realizing Fury was just clowning and showboating in that open workout, not even after he was doing pirouettes

The only thing interesting in this workout is why Peter and Tyson oped for not showing anything at all.
It's not the first time they avoided talking about their gameplan and showing sparring sessions.

By the way, those same "experts", no one of them admitted how much slower Wlad looks compared to his former self. And he was all business hitting those pads, as usual

Never saw anyone claim they are an expert. Most people probably know not to take it as gospel but it's interesting to discuss. We'll know in a couple of days :good
