Anybody reading anything into this regarding the reason why they came down early?

Admitted himself he was struggling to spar in big bear. Must've felt they were wasting time. Said he felt as though he could spar 100 rounds once back down at sea level so hopefully it's a non issue and wide decision making.

So it was too hard basically?

Lennox Lewis didn’t like it much there either iirc.

If Fury loses, and I think he will but be a lot more competitive than some, I see this as a narrative which will emerge after the fight. I'm just not sure from a Fury POV that I like this build up. Two rubbish opponents, a head coach he's never worked with at a high level before, Hatton being involved along with Roach and the latter being something of a late addition, plus the change in camp all of a sudden.

Anyone who follows boxing knows two things; training has always gone wonderfully before the fight starts. Afterwards? 'Actually, this could have been better, this was a bit of an issue, that injury flared up a bit.' Happens time and again. Not saying it will here, but that's what I fear.
