curious, what are the rules regarding the height of trunks? last night reminded me of when lewis' trunks against holyfield. back then, people were joking about holy will be pointed for hitting below the nipples. seriously appeared to me that fury's corner did that on purpose to protect an out of shape stomach and to potentially cause low blow warnings and fouls on usyk. discuss, please
They were WAAY too high. I did not see the ref tell them what was ok, but presumably they were told in the dressing room that anything below Fury's nips was fair game.

Padding by way of beer and pub food. I mean, in one way, you’ve got to give it to him. How many overweight 36yr olds have his kind of stamina and athleticism? I’d put money on him being able to roll out of bed hungover and turn in a respectable time on a 10k run. on the other hand, shows he’s squandering (to an extent) his crazy genes.
The fatter he comes to fight, the higher the trunks get. It's more of a vanity and practical issue than cheating I'd say. He's never been one to complain about low blows. Thing is, with the belly he has now if the trunks aren't high, they'll probably keep slipping down when he's moving around. He's had to make another waist around his ribs to hold the pants up because the original waist is not functional.

I kinda like Fury but he's a dirtbag. If he can get away with it, he'll do it. The Obelix trunks, the beard that he just wouldn't trim even though it's against the rules, suspect gloves in the Christian Hammer fight, blinding Cunningham with his glove, head butting, rabbit punching, steroids... It looked ridicolous, but it would only have been ridicolous if he started to complain nabout low blows with trunks that high, which he didn't
