Put Burns in a dangerous big fight, get everyone talking about him after terrible defences and then get Burns pulls out after he is back in the public eye.

Frank believes the fighters owe him loyalty even after they have paid for his services (and paid well). Allegedly!!!

Joe attends Allegedly's fights now so pretty sure theyve come to some sort of agreement.

I ****ing hope so. Why should a fighter put their life on the line and trade blows that could lead to ill health and not get paid for their services. Promoters should lose their licence for failing to pay fighters.

Calzaghe won the lawsuit against Sports Network - Frank liquidated Sports Network because there was no money left before paying Calzaghe - Frank set up Frank ****** Promotions

I believe that Calzaghe then started legal proceedings to sue Frank directly but that takes years to sort out. Unless they have reached an out of court settlement, this is still ongoing.

Yeah, as everyone else has said this is spot on. Also conveniently got him out of that Setanta contract he had after they pissed him off when they signed up Haye and Calzaghe. They sued him as well, but after all these years, who hasn't?

    Cheers Finchy.

I hope the judge whacks interest at the rate of inflation on the owed purse.

Frank probably should get a loyalty deal going with a litigation firm cos the ****ers always in caught for some reason nowadays.

Hide, Hatton and Calzaghe over the last few years just to name a few.

Not quite as is being said here.

FW set up FWP before SN went down, presumably when he knew he was going to have to toast SN as Calzaghe had him over a barrel.

When the court found in JC's favour, FW put SN to the wall.

    Not all over though.

Calzaghe pursued ****** personally and got a High Court judgement against him in his favour for around two million ridge.

As water-tight, rock solid as one can get.

Basically JC was given the green light to pursue him personally, which would have taken everything off him and made him bankrupt.

    Goodness knows why he didn't.

More likely to launch boxnation. Be interesting if DeGale and Groves there.
