Galento was a killer puncher and a real fighter. He could take your head off with his hook. He beat many top notchers especially earlier in his career. He destroys the Bean within 5 rounds.

Agreed. Galento walked through bombs by Max and Buddy Baer, Lou Nova, Lorenzo Pack, Leroy Hayne and other punchers of the era. The only person who floored Galento in his entire 100+ pro career was none other than the brown bomber and he took a trip to the canvas for his trouble.
