Excellent exhibition of boxing provided by Gamboa last tuesday,i got some clips from my cell phone but didnt come out good-i'll try to download it anyways.Gamboa was so impressive!,if doesnt get carried away by fame and money he will prevail as champion for many yrs-but shoudnt be rushed either for a title. Incredible speed-knocked down De Jesus in 1st round but then started punishing him left and right-De Jesus was tough but no match for the cuban-in the 5 round Gamboa slipped and touch the canvas with his gloves and the ref. gave him a count-wich upset Gamboa and make him finish the fight in the next round. Barthelemy looked good also but Gamboa got all the attention and eclipsed somehow his buddy perormance. They were very humble and nice to all their cubans fellows who support them thru the night.

:happy The better opponents they face the better they get! Did I saw gamboa taking quiet a big shot to the head like is was nothing?! I thought he was unhittable:yikes My bad because nobody is. He kind of brawled a little bit it seems..!
Right, he was kinda sloppy - wanted to slug it out...I hope that this was just a lil bit over-confidence, fighting before a hometown crowd the first time as a pro. Maybe he will go back to boxing for his next bout...
he took a right hand and shook it well. He looked really excited in the interview afterwards. Man i am hoping he gets a shot after a few more fights.
