Although I respect Lopez's firepower, I think he is a bit overrated now. Gamboa has the tools to outbox him, but Lopez has the power to stop Gamboa. Great fi

JuanMa prob knock' s Gamboa out silly.
    (For all of Gamboa's

's including his amazing recoup ability)

He has shown zero to no defense, And can be hit flush too many times.
He has the ability & experience to win, But his lack of D (Thus far) will cost him eventualy.

I'd pick JuanMa by K.O. (He could exploit! Gamboa's flaws)

if Gambo gets a title at feather, gets a few defences on HBO, and then Lopez unfifies and Super Bantam and then moves up, this could be a mega fight. i could see a trilogy.

Lopez will KO Gamboa. I don't even think Gamboa will make it to this fight before he is KOed by someone.

Indeed. Not to mention Gamboa has a massive edge in the speed factor. Still Gamboa's necessity to get dropped with flash KDs could mean significant doom early on for him. Right now JML but a pick em fight in a year or two.

Unless of course he keeps getting fed C-level competition. This way, he keeps his "O" and is more marketable. I'd pick Lopez to shatter Gamboa's chin now or anytime in the future.

gamboa better improve his defense if he wants to be competitive against top competition. bad thing is that he is already 27 and has developed some very bad habits being an amateur for so long, it's gonna be tough to break, not impossible though.

    JaunMa by early KO.

Only thing is I don't really know what Lopez would be like if he had to go more than a few rounds, I've never seen him the few times he's had to.

Gamboa if he can keep his hands up. What will happen to JuanMa if he gets hit back?

100% with you on this one. Gamboa is 27 and making that weight well. Being knock down so many times I don't think they are in a rush to put him against stronger heavier guy. More weight will take his speed away. I think he will lose big time before even meeting Juanma. He wil get KTFO before Juanma lay a hand on him.
