Gamboa vs Naseem?

After Gamboa's stunning KO against Mtagwa, how do you see prime Naseem against Gamboa?

For me, its pick 'em. Naseem had balance problems because of his highly unorthodox style, but had one punch KO power and amazing reflexes.

Gamboa is orthodox, has the same amazing reflexes, KO power and has tons more boxing experience but obviously never fought someone like Naseem. Gamboa looks physically stronger and probably a natural 130 lber.

I think Gamboa has the edge because of his hand placement while Naseem depended on his reflexes and unorthodox style far too often. How about you guys?

I don't know. I do know Naseem's chin is proven. Not so much with Gamboa.

I like Gamboa around 5 or 6. I just don't see Naz being able to deal with that many quick combos.

I wonder if you guys would be picking Gamboa by knockout before last night when he utterly destroyed... a tough journeyman. Because he hasn't beaten anyone that would impress me so much to pick him over prime Hamed. Yes, he's doing in the guys he's fighting in an extremely impressive manner for the most part but look at the guys he is fighting.

I see your point ,but i saw a different Gamboa last night his defense and ring generalship showed vast improvement and im beginning to think his chin isnt so suspect that it was more a case of him fighting reckless and wild. Although Mtgawa wasnt able to push him Gamboa still looked like he improved alot.

I agree, because he impressed me too. I haven't seen his last few fights and he's definitely in a different league then I saw him before. BUT, I'm still holding off on these kinds of comparisons because Mtagwa is like a poor man's Mayorga. He'll give some people stunning trouble with his looping punch aggression but he's highly beatable.

    Hamed by KO.

Gamboa isn't the hardest guy to hit in the world and Naz hits like a truck on the questionable chin of Gamboa. KO3.

Man you sure underrate Mayorga. I wouldnt even call him a poor mans Mayorga, who had big time power. Remember this is a guy who beat Forrest twice and recently gave Mosley alot of trouble. I wish he would fight more often cause hed still be dangerous for anyone at 154,in fact hed beat most JMs.

Gamboa has a glass jaw and Hamed had devastating power you would have to lean towards a Naz KO victory. Gamboa has massive potential and maybe his punch resistance will improve like Khans has then he is even more dangerous.

Naseem would knock this guy out. Probably in the first or second round.
