Gamboa VS Rigondeaux

Any chance of this happening next year or maybe 2012? or is the weight diffrence too much? if they did fight who you got winning? For me i think gamboas activity, movement and speed wins the fight for him!

Looks a great matchup on paper but could end up like two pecking hens with no man willing to engage.

 

just asked gary hyde if he think it could happen (he is rigs manager) says its a definate and has to happen...!

 

rigondeaux is exceptional, give him 5 more fights n he will be ready

Seriously, I think once Rigondeaux makes some slight adjustments to his style and really hits top gear, I think stylistically he'd be all wrong for Gamboa and I think he'd batter him.

 

gamboas chins suspect he has been down a few times in his career!!!

 

I think Rigondeaux would beat him. He's an all round better boxer.

And a fight that has to happen , Gamboa does look like a very comfortable FW in his physique , not sure what the weight demands of this fight would do to Rigondeaux's performance , and Gamboa has heavy hands , but its a future mega fight if these two can put there close friendship behind them ..........
