Its interesting to see that he does the same picking up routine as the young Cuban boxers in the Sons of Cuba documentary. Also, I don't see too many boxers practicing their head movement and counters with someone actually throwing punches at them. It seems like a intuitive drill.

everybody looks like that in Cuba. (at least, a pretty high percentage of the population compared to, say, athletes in other countries). The cuban circus performers I knew were about 5'5'', 5'6'', in their late 30s, looking just like Gamboa, muscles upon muscles, smoking and eating whatever they want, stretching every once in a while, not even lifting weights. Weird genetic concatenation on that island.
WOW, that Gamboa is a beast for sure. It's very nice to his Dad working with him. His Dad was also a good boxer back in Cuba, not elite but solid. I am very excited to see Gamboa back, the next P4P #1 and I am not joking about that!
That's because all Cuban boxers are from the same boxing school and his Dad keeps those Cuban drills and excercises alive.
