after rewatching the fight like 3 times. Mikey was slower than ever!!! He lost his foot work and could not pull the trigger when he had openings!!! The fight actually had some tough competing rounds were both fighters were gifting to establish the rhythm and distance. Spence’s jab won him this fight! Mikey actually did land some good counters and was the reason Spence backed off!!! In the 11th and 12th they did go for the k.o but Mikey took it and never folded. I think Snac was a big mistake for Mikey! They ****ed him up !! Had he just stuck to the old school he would not have lost his agility, speed and timing!!! All that **** was off!!! Mikey should hire a real strength and conditioning coach and stay at 147. If he goes down he is getting k.od like Jones junior
Mikey was embarrassing I knew he was happy to coast to a decision loss after the first round finished, he mounted 0 offence, landed nothing if any note and walked back to his corner waving his arm in victory. He done it over and over After all the big talk he gave, truly sad showing
Maybe SNAC was an error but the biggest mistake was they underestimated Spence’s skills which was a stupid thing to do whilst overestimating their own. Erroll clearly taught them a lesson. I hope Mikey recovers as the fear is he may never be quite the same. I favored Mikey to beat Lomachenko prior to this fight but now I have serious reservations.
As has been mentioned in another thread, it was a strange fight. Think about it,,,,,both fighters made big money, Spence will go on enhanced by his win to a bigger money fight. Garcia isn't damaged ,has a good reputation since he lost to a much bigger fighter, and he has numerous big money fights ahead at 140. Smells like this was set up as a win , win, proposition
Spence doesn't get the 'win/win' since he would have walked away in a better spot had he stopped Mikey. ESjr had nothing to gain going the distance w/ Garcia
This fight only proved how durable Mikey is abs nobody at 135/140 will touch him he'll walk right through and over Loma like a daddy spanking his son

I'm honestly not sure Mikey can even make 135 anymore. As Roy Jones and Macky Shilstone found out, packing on extra weight in the form of lean muscle mass is all well and good; but attempting to strip off said gains in order to drop back down in weight is an entirely different matter.
Alot of boxing fans are clueless to proper conditioning. No respect there, garcia obviously got too big and heavy and couldnt move or get off but this goes right over the heads of these so called fans. He probably wouldnt have beaten easter if he came in in that condition. Garcia was also trying all fight, not fighting to survive like the consensus says. Anyway, I said this is how people would see it. Mikey fuked up. We move on.
The only fight Mikey should consider taking at 147 would be the Pac fight. Other than that I think staying at 47 is a bad idea. Being at a weight you dont belong is a great way of making an exceptional fighter into an average one.
Soooo,,,,,that's why he's on the media calling out Manny for a mega money fight? The evidence is against you
And he couldnt have done the exact same scenario had he bulldozed Mikey? Or had he just beaten up someone else? The Pac fight was always going to be a possibility when Pac came to PBC. Im not sure I understand the logic behind the idea that Spence wouldnt have gained more from bulldozing Mikey, than 'carrying' him. Makes no sense. Had he bulldozed a p4p guy like Mikey his performance and him would have higher stock than it currently does. Hell he actually lost stock to some people in his inability to stop Mikey.
Mikey didn't come close to putting on any weight like roid did. Once roid went clean he was found out. Mikey is healthy can go right back down and trash those divisions. You watch
