Wood knocked out Mundine with a head butt. It wasn't deliberate but came as a result of Woods wild brawling style. Mundine was out of it as soon as Woods crashed his skull into his jaw. It was then followed by a marginally illegal overhand right to the back of the head and a left which finished him. You can't blame the ref for not picking it up because it can only be seen on replays. Even if the ref had picked up on it his only option would be to apply the no foul rule which would have given the same result because Mundine would not have recovered in 5 minutes. The end result is that Mundine was a little unlucky to lose the fight.
