Gatti wins a fairly easy UD. A huge part of me wants him to win but there's a small part that knows that if he wins he's gonna fight JCC jr. and get thrashed. I wish he'd just win this one and retire for good.

Gomez by UD but I want Gatti to win so he can be finally retired by JCC Jr.

Gomez wins in a competitive fight, probably by late stoppage.

Does anybody know the weight this fight was signed? Gomez hasn't made 147 in years, he fought in The Contender at nearly 160. on the other hand, Gatti looked small at 147 and i dont think it would be good for him to try at 154.

    Gatti by stoppage.

One interesting aspect though - Gomez will be the bigger man in this fight - unlike in the great pretender show....

i have heard that Buddy mcgirt left Gatti b/c he was afreid that Gatti is punch drunk. So i am not sure how it will go. He took a bad beating to Baldomir

and the ward fights all took a huge toll. He is still a hero to me. He beat Thomas Dumgaard with a broken right hand.
