Dan Geale seems like a nice bloke. He comes over well and never says a word wrong. This is great as a sportsman, like a tennis player or golfer. But as a boxer, in the pro game of prize fighting, it is a bad look. Sure you can go along and do well, but doors will not be open and you will be taken advantage of by promoters. Geale has started wearing suits on TV which is a start. But he really needs to step up the talk. Just say something in return. Pump up the 'Real Deal' tag - which is great. It is about money in the bank for him but its also about Australian pro boxing. Geale has a job to promote the sport.

Mel everyone likes money. Why do you think even after not rematching after their first IBO fight even after Grange O.S.B themselves posting on this forum that Anthony will never get a shot this fight is happening? On topic he could promote himself better but that may not be in his make up. Everyones different.

Geale doesn't need to change a thing, everything is slowly coming to him. BTW, Mel has no chance of claiming my number 1 nuthugging spot.
Money is awesome :good & makes life easy but I reckon Geale is a very proud man. He has a grogeous family, loves his job and is on cloud No1 :hey right now, I don't think he wants to change his ways for the sake of money...he's a clever man and will let Mundine do all the work :yep
That comment will come from someone soon enough. This week I have heard Geale will become Aust greatest ever boxer and Geale is close to Calzaghes level. They are smack bang up there with the Mundine huggers comments over the years
