:rofl:rofl really, makes no sense. Thank god we have no willie and walter klitschmanns that would have sucked.
I agree with what Pirog said recently, Sturm looks to be slipping and his cherrypicking ways might catch up to him vs golovkin, who is pretty good.
I think Golovkin takes it but cant count sturm out, he isnt a bad boxer and he seems to have some controversy with the judges often, I could see him able to get out of this fight and fight a easy hometown fight next.

I think Golovkin takes this. Sturm could be ready to be taken. If Macklin and Murray could push him so close then someone with a bit more power will be a real threat. Wonder if Sturm is considering cashing out with a well paid but higher risk fight?

Sturm will ride the german sat1 tv station bike as long as it's possible and cherrrypick till the end.
He knows, his career and million making is over with GGG

A KO over Sturm would put Triple G / Sturm Killer on the map for good. The K2 bros are behind him now, that's a bonus.

    "Felix" means "the lucky one".

It's all about Marketing (Arthur Abraham, Marco Huck...). Btw, Universum wanted the Klitschkos to change their names in "Walter Klitschmann" and "Willi Klitschmann".

Boxer with german roots or german names went over well with the german audience for a long time. Fortunately times have changed.

I havent seen much of Golovkin but I think Sturm can beat him

Sturm has been in title fights since 04 and is an experienced veteran

Sturm has a good defense and jab and puzzles a lot of his opponents

a lot of the guys who I have watched fight Sturm dont know how to approach his hugh guard and will stand in front of him throwing at his gloves and forearms

If Golovkin is a guy who gives lateral movement and body punching he may win

but Sturm has power and some crisp flush shots, if Sturm was aggressive he would not have so much controversy in his fights he had Murray in serious trouble near the end

I'll watch more of Golovkin to get a better idea but I get the feeling Sturm takes it in his typical fashion

a close argued points win which is so common because Sturms style lets lesser fighters hang and even win rounds

Golovkin would beat the **** out of him. In the unlikely event of this fight happening, it will be a good day for boxing.

Golovkin vs Sturm will NEVER happen, Sturm will avoid this at all costs even if he means giving up that shitty paper title.

Sturm is an inconsistent fighter, but not a bad boxer when hes on his A game. Still GGG is hungry for recognition and could very well be the best MW in the world other than Sergio who has plans to move back down after Macklin.
