Excellent work! I especially like the surprising left hook knockdowns at 1:46 and 1:59, something one wouldn't typically think of Gerrie as being capable of.

Damned good Tommy!! I think Coetzee looked for all the world like Superman ve Spinks, and I was blown away by his title winning ko of Dokes as well....kind of Schmeling-like..
You're on a real roll my man..all these trib vids are great work!! By the way, the music you chose was great...

Thanks cobra! Yeah, he looked quite good against dokes and spinks..I tried to find music that was kind of "african" like and kind of tribal..

Yes, he had a heavy left hook when he wanted to use it..Though he paticuarly used his right cross.

I echo what I said yersterday in another thread...Coetzee could have been much better than what he was..losses to Tata, Weaver and P age were as much mental as anything else...I always thought Coetzee was much better than Gerry Cooney, for one...and were it not for some confidence-sapping demons, the South African could have been a real challenge for Holmes..more so than Cooney was.

I think Coetzee could've really tested Holmes. Holmes was vulnerable to a right cross, which is Coetzee's money punch. I can see a knockdown in this fight.

Page would always be a bad matchup for Coetzee, stylewise, especially when Page is motivated.
