    How good was he? From what ive seen he had a good punch but was lacking in some ways.

    He was good, but ultimately not good enough to really make a splash.
    His problems stemmed from stamina issues, weak hands and a deep inferiority complex.

    Still though, I think he'd have given Holmes a good fight if they had ever met.

    He was typical of all the '80s HW titleholders outside of Holmes and Tyson - one or two standout attributes, but not a full package.
