Would you rather watch Golovkin take on Curtis Stevens or a slicker fighter like Sergio Mora?

  2. Don't care, just wanna see GGG shattering their jaws.

Either would be acceptable opponents if he is fighting twice more this year.

Mora would be the more challenging fight.

I'd rather see him fight Stevens. Really hope Stevens' entrance is similar to the first Primera fight where he got in like a clowning thuggin' gangster rapper with 13 gangsters on welfare following.

Well, if no unifier (Geale/Barker) or top 10 is available, then I'd think Stevens at MSG is almost ideal. It would give the general perception of being a real risky fight against a serious KO artist which could be sold very easily. Showtime has a coupla recent highlight reel KOs as well as being a Brooklyn guy to get the MSG crowd excited, but yet offers very little in the way of serious threat to GGG.

I suppose Mora has some lingering interest from the contender, but it ain't the kinda fight the could be expected to promise fireworks or any real possibility of an upset.

I also believe Mora would be the more difficult fight, but the Snake also has no realistic way of beating GGG. Certainly general perception would have it that at least Showtime would have 'a punchers chance' - which would be massively oversold in the fight buildup.

I personally would like to see the Stevens fight too, as much as anything 'cos I believe Curtis would come out strong unlike most of GGGs opponents and would perhaps force the pace a bit more than Gena is used to. I'm interested in seeing how he'll respond to a different kind of threat and just how capable he is of dictating the pace of a fight and establishing dominance against a really aggressive come forward opponent.

Listening to an interview his uncle/trainer gave today, I'm afraid Steven's team will pass on GGG in November. They feel he's building his popularity and so is GGG that (like everyone else at MW is saying), a fight with GGG will be worth more down the road.

We might have to settle for More and Soliman. I'd be happy with Rubio but he'll pass so that he can fight for the interim WBC title and wait to be Sergio's comeback opponent.

Meantime Peter Quillin's fighting on Fox Sports in late September and offered Rosado 50k to be his opponent. Interesting how Oscar says GGG needs to fight N'Dam to get on Peter's level, yet Peter's now fighting GGG left overs.

This venue would be a hometown fight for Stevens and he still will not take it. Neither will the Geale/BArker winner. GGG will probably be stuck with that clown Mora and everyone will ***** and blame GGG.

Curtis because it'll be an entertaining KO.
Curtis sucks, he wouldn't even be able to beat Mora
