GGG update

    Apparently Froch is going to make an announcement the first week of June regarding his plan to either fight GGG or retire.

    According to Froch, "Gennady has the fear factor" and, " gets him interested in how he could deal with such a threat".

    In other news, Martin Murray who picked Degale to beat Dirrell says countryman Froch would succumb to GGG's offense because the Englishman lacks the defensive skill to keep the Kazakh from landing his brutal shots.

    Here's to hoping the fight pans out, and the only two people who can answer these questions meet up later this year.

    Froch by late K.O. I don't see Gennady having the defense to take bombs to the chin from Froch round after round. Golovkin has no inside fight skills that can prepare him for the onslaught of hits from a veteran fighter.
    It was good while it lasted because FNF is off the air and Team Golovkin no longer have low level journeyman to bully.

    I don't see Froch winning this one. He gets stopped or UD'd. Either way he loses.

    :lol: At people putting anything on the Monroe fight. Golovkin willingly took those shots. Hell, he even said it after the fight, and throughout the broadcast, they were saying that his team wanted him to get rounds in.

    Actually, I hope people keep thinking the Monroe fight proved something. This will give good odds for Golovkin.

    I mean the man looked disgusted at Monroe's power. He wanted to give Monroe a chance and get rounds in. This was repeated over and over throughout the broadcast. He even said it after the fight was over.

    I feel pretty strongly that Froch will accept this fight. They are letting him fight in his backyard FFS.

    Bizarrely I'm agreeing with you yeyo, GGG fans are going to be in for a rude awakening when he steps in the ring with The Cobra, Froch is capable of doing most of the things that GGG's previous opponents have been incapable of doing, namely backing up GGG, hurting GGG, bullying GGG, making GGG fight hyper cautiously, it will also be GGG who is out of his comfort zone in theis match as well not just Froch.
