Firstly I'll get out that I believe this would be a Golovkin demolition job and think BJS would ask him more questions before succumbing to same fate. Eddie Hearn says its pretty much made if he really wants it !! Does CEJ honestly believe he can do this ?? Can't see why he wants/needs to cash out so early .......... "APPARENTLY" he/his team are a nightmare to negotiate with and he gets paid handsomely every fight !!! ??????
I agree on the first point, BJS would be more elusive before being sparked. CEJ doesn't believe he can, and doesn't even want to get in yet. Just my view, but I think probably the general consensus.
Why does he want to fight GGG? because he know's he can beat him! He doesn't just believe he can, he has self confidence in spades and trains like a beast 24/7, as well as having great fighting gene's. If you had that combo you would be confident too. 1. First he says he thinks he can beat GGG? people say he is just name dropping 2. Second he challenges GGG, oh thats not legit you need to get your promoter to get in touch 3. Gets his promoter in touch, oh he's just name dropping again to promote his fight, win the fight then call him out on live tv 4. Win's fight calls him out on live tv, he's bs'ing again sign the contract then we will believe you 5. Signs contract, oh he's just cashing out even if he loses it wont look bad because he has no chance 6. Destroys GGG, oh yeah GGG is a bum, always was never beat no one, Martin Murray is his best win and Groves punished him. See CEJ can't win ever by you mugs
CEJ believes in his chin too much IMO. He thinks that he can take Golovkins power and return in kind. He prob can't but time will tell and at least he'll be an opponent who actually believes he's going to win.
Has GGG ever had his chin tested? CEJ is going to hit him 3 times for every one GGG lands, who will win? You do the math
Thanks for reply mate ....... Would anyone really class GGG as a bum if he got beat ?? CEJ has improved massively no doubt and it would be great to see a fighter with genuine self confidence facing GGG ...... Honest question- would you put a months or even a fortnights salary on CEJ winning ?
No I wouldn't bet that kind of coin on anyone, even CEJ vs Doran And yes, they will call GGG a bum, no doubt in my mind. GGG is top 3 p4p on most lists, he wont be top 1000 if he loses. How many people will put CEJ in the top p4p 3 if he did beat up GGG?, only me and the Eubanks I reckon haha
As I've said it would/will be great seeing CEJ with genuine confidence in opp corner. So CEJ beats GGG in hand speed (I think differently mate) ...... ?? Can he match him in anything else ??
Eubank has nothing over Golovkin. He isn't stronger, he's not more powerful, Golovkin is also the better technical boxer. The only way t I could see CEJ winning is by staying on Golovkin's chest and trying to outworked him but this won't happen as he's going to have to risk getting tagged every time he tries to close the distance. It's going to be brutal guys Golovkin wins and early.
Rationally there's no way he fights Golovkin. It's a potentially career ending fight for Eubank. He might be stupid enough to do it, but he would be even more of an idiot than I thought. Then again with senior gassing his head all day long, anything is possible.
He is a lot stronger than GGG physically and a bit bigger (GGG is the same size as Martin Murray so he's big @ 160 but CEJ is huge @160) GGG has more punching power CEJ has more speed (hand and foot) GGG has fundamentals and experience CEJ has natural talent and awkwardness They both have great chins = They both have grit and determination = CEJ has more endurance and a higher work rate Resumes don't win fights and if they did GGG wouldn't be that special any way
Eubank has fought 1...1 world level opponent and lost. If he was so great he'd have been fighting world level opponents from then on. The facts are he's yet to beat an opponent beyond British level. Which world level fighter has he beaten? Nobody is claiming Golovkin has a ATG resume but it's lightyears ahead of anything CEJ has done.
BJS is better than anyone GGG has fought? Probably CEJ could have been given the win in that fight it was razor tight, but the way the fight went in the 2nd half meant that CEJ won the event any way. He absolutely gave away the 1st couple of rounds posing and lost by 1 round on the cards. It was his first 12 round fight and he had never been past 8 before, that's pretty green if you ask me. The BJS fight was the making of CEJ for me, he underestimated BJS and paid the price. He only really poses now when he is clearly in front these days and he is far more relentless. There aren't many fighters between BJS and GGG @ 160, imo only Jacobs could be placed higher at this stage. CEJ already is at the level where he is one of the best chances of beating him atm.
Has anyone considered that at 34 GGG is only going one way ( he isn't going to better) and someone will catch him on the slide
