    Benny Briscoe would have a great shot against the current 160 pounders. Minter,Monroe,Watts, Finnegan .were all good. Hearns and Mugabi would make some real noise.

    I was referring to Napoles and Griffith as they were blown up welterweights.

    By the way, Valdez started out below 140 pounds and was rather short for a middleweight. In fact, he started out as a lightweight!

    Briscoe to me is rather overrated.

    Monzon was a big middleweight, and some of his best " name " opponents were smaller men.

    Trinidad is best at 154lbs. He was definitely dangerous at 160lbs, and I think it's a little early to say for sure how GGG deals with real adversity from a world-class opponent.

    I think a prime Benny Briscoe would be a terror in the middleweight division today.
