I actually thought Tarver beat him in the first fight. Both great fights and I highly recommend them. Johnson always does complain about being on the wrong end of close decisions.
i agree with the first fight going tarver's way. like i said i havent seen 10+ of his losses, but it does seem to me people exagerrate how hard his luck is.
I get vry seriously fed up of people mentioning the Ottke fight. Any mention of the fight is a concession that you haven't seen it. It was the CLEAREST 7 - 5 fight anyone will ever see.

I used to think that with the first Dawson fight but I rewatched it a few times and thought it possibly could've gone either way so thats not a robbery. And this is coming from a Dawson fan.
so so far, the only robbery we can claim is vs branco, that still leaves him with **** loads of losses dont it, and he should have one extra vs tarver. i think it is clear that the myth has been floated around so much noone really knows which fights he did actually deserve to win.
Johnson has lived in the USA since he was 15. He's now 41. He's been in America for far longer than he lived in Jamaica. He won the Golden Gloves in Florida as an amateur!! But you wouldn't know any of that, seeing as you don't know anything about any of the boxers you frequently pass comment on except what you read on boxrec. Lack of knowledge exposed again :smoke
