Same level. Good fighters, but nothing special. Both can be easily outboxed by someone with good handspeed and timing.
Bellew is better than the both of them. If Breidis was being caught by counter left hooks by that little French bum , then he'd likely get bombed out by the Bomber. If he doesn't get knocked out , he'd get befuddled by Bellews superior fight IQ and ring generalship. Bredis is slightly bellew Steve Cunningham / YPH level.
That fact that you think Bellew is better than Briedis shows once again that YDKSAB. Briedis has a better resume at cruiserweight and heavyweight over Bellew....plus he's not been knocked out or dropped multiple times. Plus Bellew gets stopped mid rounds.
Haye and Masternak is better than anybody Bredis beat. Macabu probably was as well given the circumstances at the time.
I disagree. The best win for Briedis was #6 Huck, who was completely shot was knocked out by Glowacki two years before. He also beat the unranked and mediocre Mike Perez and the unranked and overrated Manuel Charr. Bellew knocked out #5 Makabu and left the cruiserweight division and vacated his title to beat the #8 heavyweight Haye. Bellew also stopped Miranda, who was able to easily compete with Dorticos and exposed Dorticos for having no power and a weak chin.
Briedis has shown more craft. And he was more competitive vs Usyk.(i know triangle theories dont really work) Usyk Briedis Gassiev Glowacki Lebedev Dorticos I think Bellew is vastly underrated. He has some flaws but he is quite crafty.
Briedis victories over Huck, Charr, Durodola and Perez are better than the above mentioned fighters. Miranda had no reason to be at cruiser and Bellew fought scared throughout.....if the cruiserweight division was so easy he'd of entered the tournament instead of fleecing mugs fighting a cripple.
