Thought Pac-man would crush Khan, still do. Let's hope that one goes on the most back of back-burners.

Exciting fight, Khan's whiskers are suspect but he's got a lot of heart. Fighting fire with fire, while a daft strategy against Gomez, made for a fun bout.

Totally agree, i thought Khan was great but i was thinking he had a chance against the Paq. I say a few more fights still, very entertaining tho :)

Khan is a bit green behind the ears but has better overall skills than either Diaz or Pac. Once he refines these it will get very interesting.

Well, he was caught badly in the second and also hurt badly by a body shot.

Good win and good fight, but this will do nothing to convert 'doubters'

Offensively Khan is as good as any other fighter at his weight but defensively is abilities are at a very basic level. He just keeps his hands up like thats the be all and end all of a good defence. No parrying of shots, not enough movement or use of any angles. He spent most of last night right in front of Gomez.

He doesn't even know how to clinch properly. Last night when he did grab hold of Gomez he simply grabbed Gomez's head allowing him free reign to hit him with either hand. He needs to learn to tie up his opponent properly by grabbing an arm. He was dropped last night because he didn't know how to clinch. He was up against the ropes and tried to tie Gomez up by grabbing his head and so Gomez whacked him with his free left hand.

Khan has made the right choice in getting a new trainer for his next fight. And hopefully it's someone who can teach him more than the basics he has learnt so far. He has almost paid dearly twice now because of his poor decision to choose Harrison rather than a seriously good experienced trainer. Khan has set himself a steep learning curve but needs to slow down because he is not ready for a title fight anytime this year.

    well said

the one advantage he has is being 21 and having it all in front of you.....his imminent move away from terrestrial tv will also help slow down the hype train

Khan will never be world class, doesn't have the chin he will get stopped if he eventually steps up but Warren will try to milk his cash cow fighting bums for as lnog as he can.

    Very good post.

    Totally agree.

A very good fight last night, but how anyone can be anything but disappointed with Khan's performance is beyond me. A life and death struggle with a shot Michael Gomez, while entertaining, does nothing for Khans reputation.

next to nothing to justify the hype. He's got no chin and is having big struggles with domestic level fighters. Can't wait to see him get knocked out badly.

I have no idea how this is a good win for Khan.

He showed his usual excellant hand speed.

He also showed power, heart, combinations etc.

1 problem. He showed this against a shot SFW who was considerably smaller and has no defence. And to be honest, a limited offence.

    Yeah, good win for Khan.
