So with the impending debut of Goldenboy UK soon to take place in April - with the likely debut of Ogogo on a Khan undercard.
Whose going to be heading up UK operations, are they going to be based in London?

Are we likely to see some impending signings before the card?

I just don't think they will have the stable to make it work consistently in the UK, Schaefer said they only want 2 or 3 fighters so I don't see how they are going to make high quality shows in the UK

I've said this before, I doubt very much Golden Boy will succeed. There's just no room for them over here in the British market, Matchroom and FWP have got it under lock and key. Hatton and Maloney barely get a look in and Hennessy would be nothing without Fury and his channel 5 deal.

If GB think they can do the same things they do America over here and expect it to succeed then they're in for a very rude awakening. As Eddie Hearn said in his latest IFilmLndn interview, the British boxing fans and the American boxing fans are totally different. Like chalk and cheese. Trying to push Amir Khan as the face of Golden Boy is a bad move, he's hated over here by the majority and Anthony Ogogo hasn't achieved anything yet. If he's rammed down the public's throat as a big superstar just because he won an Olympic medal then that's a minefield, look at the BBC and Audley Harrison. What a disaster that was.

The only positive thing I can think of is hopefully they'll bring some of those ****ing gorgeous Corona girls with them.

Does anyone know who will be broadcasting their fights?

I'm not sure. Khan has a deal with Sky Sports but Golden Boy have a separate deal with BoxNation. Maybe all cards except ones featuring Khan will go to them? If Sky make deal with Golden Boy a legitimate deal to broadcast all their cards then it will be a travesty after already ****ing off all the other British promoters.

Sky seem to be showing khan and ogogo a lot on ringside and etc. I'd expect sky to broadcast goldenboy uk fights.

Also a couple weeks ago on Ringside Smith asked Hearn why he didn`t sign Oggogo,he look a bit pissed that Hearn hadn`t signed him.

This is the case- Khan TV wise might have to take slightly less money than last time especially if he is signing for a longish term deal with Sky. His career/value would be significantly dented if he lost again.

True slightly less money would be fair, his teams ego wouldn`t let his deal be much lower.
