For the record and for every one to witness, Brisback and I have a bet for $500 whether Golota will come within the next 6 months. That is, up to May 16, 2009. If Golota does not come back on or before May 16, I win. If he comes back, I lose.

Who do you think will win?

Yeah, I think OP made a good bet. Not that I think Golota won't come back, but a dislocated elbow is a pretty serious injury and will probably require some substantial healing time and rehab. I can see him coming back before 2009 is over though.

Golota has an injury, and will need surgery for it, then time for it to heal. Then time to shake off the rust from lack of training, then a fight. Highly unlikely he will fight in 6 months time.

You shoulda bet in a period of one year, like originally proposed. Since you were originally arguing he won't come back at all, but you were too much of a puss, and argued to settle on something safer for yourself.

Btw, this year Golota had a long lay-off of 11 months and he had no injury at all. I think I am going to win. :D

No way in hell. He'll be out 3 for the injury, then he would have to find an opponent, then find a place, then get in shape.

He agreed to take this bet. Don't blame me. Unless he wants to back out from this, the bet is on. We have a gentleman's word.

**** Brisback, shouldve made it 2 years, not 6 months. Golota shall return, but I doubt within 6 months. Hope I'm wrong
