I watched the fight in the early am starting round 4 and saw GGG slowly take over and do what he does. I missed the first 3 rounds but from what I read GGG was having a real hard time looking slow and old.

just watched the first 3 rounds. Man what a fight! Murata came to win and was putting big shots on Golovkin. But you see ggg still throwing back and his heavy hands slowly take their toll. Start of 4 GGG comes out relentless and you see the first signs of Murata wilting. At 5 he ate the monster shot that was the beginning of the end. 7-9 vintage GGG.

ATG middleweight right here man im gonna miss him! I want to see him give ginger one last good fight.

Sure, Murata is a limited fighter but he’s no slouch. Golovkin just takes these guys and wrecks them. I don’t see any other middleweight beating Murata in this violent fashion. It’s what makes GGG so special

I've never really rated Murata. He's a tough guy with good physicality but is overshadowed by Inoue, Ioka and others.

That said, I felt immensely proud of how he did tonight. He was a samurai warrior.

And he did it the backyard of a national hero in front of a packed house in the Saitama Super Arena who is the most popular fighter in Japan, stopping a teak-tough power punching champion and Olympic gold medalist/world silver medalist who'd never been dropped or stopped. That's what I'm talking about

The good people of Japan love GGG

The good people of Great Britain love GGG

The good people of Mexico love GGG

The good people of America love GGG

The good people of the world love GGG

Ask anyone who has spent any time around him they'll tell you he's the nicest most helpful guy

It's only the fans of deck-stacking loaded dice rolling cheating ****houses from Guadalajara and Oakland who worship at the altar of corruption that dislike him

i love watching both GGG & Canelo fight.
I warmed up to andre Ward once he took it to KOvalev. I’m Just a flat out boxing addict really.

that chick on that YouTube video sounds llike how I would imagine a lot of peeps on this board sound like in my head when I read their posts.

GGG is too old now. He looked slow and ponderous at times. No way should he go anywhere near a third Canelo fight

Murata came out fighting hard, which was good to see. I'd like to see more of him
vs good MW's...Andrade, maybe? Surely that would be a big fight in Japan.

    Yeah, GGG broke him down.

I would not be surprised if GGG tests positive for peds.

But maybe he’s just getting ready to tangle with the Mexican beef factory and wants to do it on even terms.

Not sure how anyone gave Murata rounds 4/5, the tide was turning for GGG easily.

It was the beginning of the end when he knocked his mouthpiece out with that monster right.

He beats or can beat anyone not named GGG. That’s for sure.
