No he's not shot, he was just cautious. He clearly started to bother Canelo after round 8 with his power. Canelo has a granite chin though, as does Golovkin. An amazing fight.
This time around i thought Canelo fought better but GGG still landed more shots. 6 or so rounds very close and could argue for either way in them.....I actually thought it was going to be announced a draw Was well worth waking up for at 4am in the Uk
excuses. Canelo is great. He fought the puncher and backed him up and the only time GGG came on is when Canelo got tired, and still Canelo landed some punches to make some of the rounds questionable. Give the guy credit. Heck of a fighter. GGG is good, but in my mind for Canelo to win and do what he did, he is the better fighter. He moved up and beat a bigger guy. And Canelo had not fought since a year ago tomorrow.
GGG won both fights but i agree he is now looking like a significantly declined fighter. Don't think there is any point doing a third fight because father time cannot be defeated
His punches lacked snap, they looked pushed. At the end of the fight Golovkin looked punished. He looked his age but fought with all his heart
He landed better power shots tonight as opposed to the first fight but he was slower and less imposing Not gonna say shot but he was kind of hesitant
