Golovkin is clearly shot. Maybe not completely shot, but he's slid pretty far down. Clenelo hit him with harder shots in the first fight. And maybe even more. But Golovkin's face usually lumps up a little, but tonight his face reflected a war for the first time ever. That's the skin and punch resistance breaking down due to age. Take Brandon Rios. Guy was able to absorb obscene punishment in his prime and his face never lumped up or got cut. Now he skin just isn't as resilient anymore. Clenelo, to his credit, doesn't mark up much.
