Just over two weeks before this one happens. Macklin is tailor made for GGG and this fight quite frankly has massacre written all over it. Best case senario is Buddy pulls the plug between rounds, no later than 6. Even during his most recent TKO 1 over Alcine, Macklin showed nothing special that leads me to believe he could possibly trouble GGG. Yet he has the temerity to dump on GGG's opposition when his biggest accomplishments were out working (volume punching) an eroded Sturm while still managing to eat tons of jabs. Then running from Martinez until he got dialed in on and stopped late. Macklin has as much of a chance in this one as Notre Dame had against Alabama last year. ROLL GGG....
Golovkins biggest test so far, and I really like Macklin, but I can only see this ending one way, and that is with Macklin on the floor

Definitely. Macklin is arguably Golovkin's first real top ten opponent. Macklin will tell us a lot about where Golovkin really is. Beating up bums, 154 pounders, and up and coming middleweights doesn't really show us what somebody really has. This will be his first real test.
I believe this will be pretty even fight like macklin made it against sergio also. Think gGolovkin will take over the fight in late rounds and maybe stop tough macklin. Thisshould be entertaining fight. One thing I know already guys like bballchump and pimpC will be shitting on golovkin. :yep:
I think Macklin might test Golovkin somewhat, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he gets smoked inside 3 rounds.
Said it before. I like Macklin, but I just can't see what he brings to trouble Golo. There is no area of the game that Golovkin isn't better at. Mack has what I suppose you'd call a punchers chance, 'cept he ain't a puncher. Golovkin's too calm and methodical to be pressured into an obvious mistake. I see Macklin trying a few things out, perhaps trying to tire GGG out, but getting stalked down, slowed with bodyshots and taken out TKO mid-rounds. The longer it goes the more Mack gets hurt. Inevitable as the tide. Kovalev - White this W/E gotta be worth watching too.
