Had Ward not ducked Golovkin in 2015. Who would of won this fight ? Back in 2015 Loeffler offered Ward 50/50 deal at a catch weight of 164 which Ward denied.

Ward had declined the offer . And Golovkin was rightfully the A-side.

Who would of won this fight ? . i can't think of any version GGG that Ward beats. Unless its with corrupt judges along with headbutts and low blows then maybe Ward has a chance.

Ward may not have the most pop in this punches but he has the skill and style to smother G that and Ward's huge and G couldn't do anything to Canelo who's way smaller

I think Ward is all wrong for GGG. Ward schools him if he's not dehydrated.

Wait, didn’t GGG beat Canelo in their first fight? I know the judges called it a draw but most people had it a clear GGG win.

I get a lot of crap from the Canelo fans, some of it deserved, but I’d take the ginger Hulk version of Canelo over Ward at 175. Ward wouldn’t be allowed to hit Canelo low or elbow/head butt him like he did other fighters. He would lose major points if he pulled that crap against Golden boy Canelo. Canelo is also faster than Ward and a better fighter overall. I’m not talking wrestling, I’m talking about boxing, within the rules of the sport.

Canelo is a much better puncher and can take a punch much better than Ward. He would laugh at Wards feather fisted shots and walk right through them. Ward would lose by late KO or wide UD. Either way, ginger gets his arm raised at the end. No way feather fisted Ward KOs Canelo and he’s not getting the decision unless the fight is in Oakland and that ain’t happening. I hope Ward comes out of retirement and agrees to fight Canelo. He’s an arrogant punk and could use some humility.

He couldn't hurt the smaller man is what I meant ward is a huge guy he's not 5'8" with short arms there is a reason G was willing to go up and fight Chavez jr or Froch at 168 but asked for 164 for Ward that's coming from a G fan and Ward hater

The real problem with the 'Ward ducked GGG' narrative arrives the day he fights at 168. Should that happen, everything flips from a Ward duck to GGG's team tabling an offer they knew would be refused by making a stipulation which wasn't required.

Ward easily , GGG knew Ward was all wrong for him that's why he ducked Ward.

I absolutely love GGG. In his prime what a fighter and I believe he won both Canelo fights.

However I don't think he ever beats Ward. Ward has his number.

Ward cruises by Golovkin by a not so difficult UD.

Also Golovkin had an opportunity to fight Ward when Ward offered them 50/50. Golovkin turned it down. So they both share the blame. Cracks me up how prevalent the notion is that Ward was the only one who ducked that fight.

This seems like a troll post to me.

Andre Ward didn't duck GG in 2015.

    Nobody ducked anybody.

The fight wasn't at all viable back then.

    Their circumstances were completely different.

GG was preparing to fight David Lemiuex, and then he was waiting to fight the winner of the Canelo-Cotto fight early in 2016.

Andre Ward hadn't fought in 18 months due to injuries and contractual disputes, and he fought Paul Smith at a C-W. He also had doubts that he could comfortably make 168 again. He could never have made 164 healthily.

Both guys went in other directions.

GG was desperate for a huge unification with Canelo, and then Ward ended up fighting Kovalev. Nobody ducks GG to fight Kovalev.

The timing wasn't right for either guy.

GG wasn't the A side. At the time, he hadn't fought Lemiuex, Brook or Jacobs. He was still trying to get recognition, with his best wins being against the likes of Martin Murray.

Had they have fought, Ward would have been a big favourite.
