Who was excessively initiating clinches though?
I like it when a fighter does that cause it stops the other guy from clinching up all the time. It's kind of a you hit me low, I hit you low situation.

The shots were perfectly legal. How does turning his hand instead of his arm make the shot illegal?

 

That shot is absolutely ripe for someone to break his ribs in two. It takes him an age to set it up.

 

I have been hit with illegal shots before not nice, what Golovkin was throwing not illegal in my opinion. In any case in the pro ranks you just have to grin and bear it to be honest especially if you are not the "money" fighter.

I saw golovkin throwing plenty of illegal looking punches, they were mainly when he jumped in, he would come in punching down on murrays head, he would twist his arm at the last second, and turn the punch down, may not be illegal, but sure looked dodgy to me.

 

The first two occasions he threw it I noticed he came dangerously close to landing on the back of Murrays head, so put money on this happening one day and there being a big controversy over it.

and yes GGG is dirty with the head but there are clips of him teaching other fighters how to be dirty with the head

 

his not dirty with the head he was teaching a boxer how to use there head to gain an advantage in the clinch in a legal way
