Hope Burns wins this. I dont care what anyone says Gomez is a bad advert for Boxing. Ricardo Mayorga smokes at press conferences and calls other fighters mothers but he's still nicer than Gomez. I was in a pub once and saw Gomez arguing with another man. From the car Gomez got out of his mate ran up behind him and bottled the man. And they both ran into the car laughing. I'm 100% certain too that if it wasn't for the fact that Gomez had just been beat by Khan and had a bit of a profile round Failsworth he would have done something too. He's a thug. Pure and simple and it's annoying he still gets big fights when he doesn't do anything in them. Everyone bangs on about him being a warrior. Warriors dont turn their back and walk out of the ring whilst still getting punched in the face . I respect Gomez for what he's done in his career but I do not think he's a nice lad. Will admit the text he sent was funny though

It wasn't a fabrication and I never said it was in the last 48 hours ? And for the record it was never meant to be funny. Just something I witnessed which I thought i'd pass on ! It is an open forum isn't it.
