Bad for boxing ?.........i dont know facts and figures but i reckon/guess he hs fairly sold this show all on his own..........just being him. Walked out of the ring aye, he didnt stay down or call an injury. To me he just walked off, couldnt be arsed. Im sure his reasons are far more reasonable than your opinions/ ideas.

I can see what happened here, some local pisshead was getting mouthy with Gomez trying to egg him on into giving him a smack so he can go the the nearest solicitorsand take Mike to court. So Mikes mate gave him a tap instead. Probably deserved it.

 

Well actually, since this is a post on Gomez, when would it be prudent to write about it. I'm not bitter at all I think Gomez is a good fighter and has done well for himself. I was there to cheer him on when he beat Arthur but I just can't get my head around everyone saying how he's a lovely lad. Fair enough it's my opinion and I obviously dont know him as well as a lot on here so we'll leave it at that. I agree this is an excellent match up and one that I can see Gomez winning if he's focused. Thats my point though. It's when he's not focused that gets my back up, because if he wouldn't have done half the things he did he could have gone further

 

What are you lot on about. I never said punched I said bottled.... There is a clear difference. And it wasn't a regular argument about nothing. The car pulled up and parked on the main road. Gomez got out and went straight over to the lad and started the argument. Now i'm not saying he was wrong because I do not know what the lad had done beforehand, but he was no way goaded into the argument, he sought it !

i know this story bout the 'bottle' incident cos i was in the car. gomez was provoked and had a good reason, he didnt want to fight cos he would have knocked the bloke out ('etch' am i right - dark hair - looks like frank gallagher...), so his mate gave him a crack...fair enough. Gomez is a tough rough man bu got a massiv heart n wil win tomorow - he is fit snd determined so dont know why people who dont know him comin on tryin to badmouth him with their silly stories about what happened on oldham road.
