Great Arcel interview

    Now we know Arcel first saw Dempsey in NY in 1916. He attended his bout with Johnson and was not impressed. Arcel intimates that we also attended the Willard bout.

    That snippet where Arcel stated he first watch Dempsey fight in NY in 1916 shows how long he observed Dempsey and his career. As I have stated many times previously he knew PRIME Dempsey well.
