    Tommy West , 10 rounds decision over a 3-0 Dick Tiger .
3 fights later he stopped Tiger and 4 fights later decisioned him again .
Maskaev was a very good call , now I know Miroschinenko was a really dangerous opponent , not just 1 with a padded record , he was robbed against Bowe whom might have had a claim 2 being robbed vs Lewis .
Should have been Miroschinenko vs Lewis and Lewis settles 4 a silver medal , still an improvement :yep .

Great idea 4 a thread , great bump as usual by Thin Black and great posts in it .

Slight correction. He actually won the WBA world title in his fourth fight (versus Chuvatana, I believe) and defended against Konadu in only his fifth fight (putting Konadu on the mat before he was eventually stopped). But I agree that it's a nice beginning to one's career.

Lots of contenders for best win, but Ive never seen a debutee win in as much style as Pernell Whitaker.

I watched that fight, turned to my buddy and said, that guy is gonna be the best fighter in boxing, and soon. Watch.

    One of my better predictions.

There r a few more who lost 2 Ramirez over d distance in their debut , I consider it a great debut if it's above a certain amount of rounds , probably above 4 .
