Yeah, Napoles had superb footwork, I like him in general, he was near to a perfect fighter, I would have loved to see if he would have fought in the 80s when the "Fab 4" where around... :hey

Napoles' feet were always in place, they never came close to making a mistake from what i can see.

Not sure if its due to his footwork, as i never really completely focused solely on his feet, but Bernard Hopkins' ring generalship was top tier, little movements, side to side, stepping around, it looks as though his feet were responsible for the great ring generalship i have noticed there.

Also, Tommy Loughran had a low guard, but generally is regarded as a good defensive technician, how can that be? It was his feet, he was like a matador, challenging his man to come at him with that low guard, and he simply wasnt there to take the shot, and he wasnt a runner, he turned guys with his feet.

Moore's was good in general, though maybe not perfect, when he had a guy reeling, he could set his feet in the right place to get the best openings to finish the fight.

I mean if you dont have jersey joe walcott in your top 3 list, then you dont know how to judge footwork. Its my opinion that his footwork was even better than ali's, honestly watch walcott vs Louis I, walcotts footwork is unbelievable, he does things that no other fighter in history could do with there feet. he INVENTED tricks and moves with his feet.

I dont know if any of you seen walcott training clips for marciano I. he is sparring this dude(no gloves) he does this thing where he slides back...fake jukes one way then literally GLIDES IN MID AIR across the ring to the other side with his feet like the moonwalk! completley faked his partner out.

Jack Dempsey had pretty good footwork for a puncher/swarmer. Also he isn´t great, Sven Ottke had great foot work, next to his stamina, judge of distance and boxing brain that´s the only thing he really had going for him.
