I heard a few months back through a very reliable source that the fight is a done deal and going to happen early 2009 in Perth.

Who was that ****stain who said he'd leave the forum forever if the fight happened? I think it was shiner. You better keep your word you little turd. If Green comes back the only way he can gain some credibility is by fighting Garay, he pulled out of their fight last minute, i think Garay would've beaten Green.

Talk it up $$$$$$ until we see the real deal there's no need for any excitement!

Unless Mr Dancey Prancey Green states something solid :hi:. By the way he didn't lift his dance partner up high enough in the end and the belt brag at the showy end was uncalled for IMO.

Well the article says Green needs a tune up and would fight in late 2009.

That could give Mundine enough time to fight Sturm and win the title then go up to light heavy for a bout with Green.

If he doesn't do that, then fighting Green is a pointless exercise cause it would be much harder to drop 15 pounds to get back to middleweight after the Green fight.

How long does it take Green to say yes or no to the damn fight. Either yes or no Danny. Your not Sugar Ray Leonard.

How many of you guys actually went for Green in the first fight???? Be totally honest. Im fed up with the poor management of Mundine at this stage of his career, the time wasting, weak opposition, lack of risk and boring results, yet I was several hundred dollars richer after the first fight. Green wont have anymore chance this time, than the last. "To rest, is to rust"..... Dempsey said that, and proved it right with his own career. If the fight eventuates, any Green backers..... I'll take any of ya bets. Up to $10,000.... or any ten of you at $1000 each, myself in favour of Mundine betting wise. Even money bet.

I totally agree with you. Even though the fight would take place at 175 i give Green virtually no chance against Mundine especially if Green has no warm up fights. I personally went for Mundine in the first fight as i always believed he was far superior a boxer to Green and it annoyed me that Green was living off Mundine's name to a certain degree.
