What do you guys make of this? I think Tarver might be able to squeek out a decision, but I havent really seen much of Green. Anyone know what time its on here as well?
god knows. i would have thought that green will be too young for tarver, but at the same time, green really is an average fighter that tarver would have beaten a few years ago. i doubt it will be a good fight.
Isnt Green pretty old himself? Tarver didnt look to great agaisnt Dawson, but the jump in wiehgt might help him
Spider is a good guy to ask. He's a Australian poster who posts on here from time to time. I did venture over to the Oz Forum a month back and saw this sparring session of Tarver. The one below isn't the same one i found but the one over at the Oz he used a really good awkward left hook but was getting hit a fair bit himself. Green's no great shakes tbh but it's all on Tarver and for most of his career it's been that way. He turns up fancying job he can win the fight but he may just be looking for the $$$ which is more then likely. Seen a couple of interviews of Tarver lately and he seems like a really decent bloke, rooting for him tomorrow night. Be tricky to get a decision in Oz against Green mind.

Tarver was an old man when turned pro! He spent far too long as an (excellent) amatuer, and even when he stayed on to win that Olympic Gold, he goes and loses his first fight in ages, and blows the gold medal he was favoured to win.
