    It was a 12 round fight !
Of course it looked like Groves all the way but this is boxing - anything could have happened.

Yeah, **** stoppage. Paid my 15 quid and i wanna see a fight finish how a fight should finish. Robbed by a poncy ref who basically ignored the fact that this was a title fight.

    Good performance from Groves nonetheless.

Very soft. But the guy had been down 3 times so I can see where the ref was coming from, Adamu just didn't seem hurth though.

Groves is head and shoulders above the rest of the British SMW, I expect him to be holding an ABC title by his 20th fight.

Groves looked good tonight, but the stoppage did look much too early

crap stoppage but groves boxed brilliantly especially his use of range, watt actually nailed it when he said that groves was using his legs to get out instead of pulling back

To be fair, Loughlin is one of the best UK ref's.

He's the closest to the action, who knows what he has maybe seen or heard to prompt the stoppage.

Still, it looked pretty soft from my armchair :think

From the arena it looked a little early but not all that bad - more a mercy stoppage than anything else.

The fight was only going one way, he'd have gotten badly hurt if it had been allowed to go on.

the stoppage was poor. Groves was winning no doubt, but 2 or the knockdowns were flash, and adamu was not hurt. Groves seems to put punches together well, but this fight in reality didn't tell us anything new about groves Adamu should not hve been champion anyway, so i recko he should fight dilks next to decide who the real commonwealth champion is.

It was an awful stoppage. Adamu was getting hurt regularly in the fight and I would have backed him to get the late stoppage without that helping hand from the ref. Terrible decision in a title fight, if he was a journeyman fighting in a nothing bout I'd almost understand it.

It was bollocks, and did not show us anything we didn't already know about groves. These are the types of decision that devalue a title that already carries almost no currency in the world of boxing.
